I am Greer Jackson, a freshman journalism major at Howard University. Georgetown, Guyana is the place I call home, but University has led me away from that comfort zone and into the heart of Washington D.C- so far, I can't say I regret it.

I consider music an existential need, literature a godsend, and tea a must-have.When my head isn't buried in a book, I'm usually behind the viewfinder of a camera or shamelessly  enjoying solitary moments of introspection.

Someday , I  hope to earn my pilots' licenses and perhaps even work as a commercial airline pilot. Until then, I'll be exploring what journalism and digital media have to offer.
